...My favorite this week has to be the on going,'Retail' story line.In a bit of genius,'Retail',creator,Norm Feuti ,made an arch enemy character to the strips favorite slacker,Cooper Costello,via a real person that comments on the real blog,'Cooper's Blog'.
This person/character's name is Keith Sanzen.This week he blackmailed Cooper after discovering Cooper's secret rooftop hiding place,affectionately called,'Cooper's Lounge'.
Unable to any longer to put up with Keith's shenanigans,Cooper calls the cops and busts Keith.
Pretty intense,pretty funny,great strip(s).That is why,'Retail',is the comic of the week.
This 'Rhymes With Orange' was a great Passover cartoon.
But,I guess you would have to know that Arby's bought out Wendy's to totally understand this great Jeff Stahler cartoon.It is very,very funny.That is why it is the comic of the week.
This 'Frank and Ernest' was very funny on Kentucky Derby week
This 'Rhymes With Orange' was a classic.
But I got a real big hoot out of this 'Get Fuzzy'.That is why it is the comic of the week.
This very funny 'Tiny Sepuku' is the comic of the week.
The Comic Of Of The WeekFirst off,go back three weeks and check out all the Frog Applauses...the strip has been on fire.
Then check out this very funny funny from y-day's 'The Knight Life'.'The Knight life' is Keith Knight's two week old new comic strip.
Then come with me to this past week.Last Tuesday's 'Pearl Before Swine' was the comic of the week.
This,'Non Sequitur',by Wiley from last Sunday metions this weekends cartoonist 62nd Reuben Awards in New Orleans.That is why it is the comic of the week.This past Saturday's 'Frazz',by Jeff Mallet was the cat's pajamas{can't beat a good Queen joke}
But this 'Basic Instructions',by Scott Meyer is just so fun,and on sooo many levels that it just has to be the comic of the week.
This Saturday we had another Toni & Brad smooch.
But last Sunday's 'Cathy',by Cathy Guisewite,was just so brilliantly done...it was just too funny.That is why it is the comic of the week.
The Comic Of The Week(s) Due to circumstances beyond my control I was unable to publish the comic of the week last week.Sometimes Karma is a bitch,sometimes a lover.Karma went my way this time.Both last week's comic and this one are both by cartoonist,Signe Wilkinson.Her,'Family Tree',strip from the Wednesday of last week was super funny.It took me a double take to make me realize she was making sport of Hana Montana.That makes it the comic of last week.
This week,Signe had an absolutely funny political cartoon published in The Philadelphia Daily News.It is so gosh darn funny that it is the comic of the week.
